Magnificent sweeping views set the scene at Les Cascades de Bantry Bay, an elegant lodge perched on the hillside below Lion’s Head in the most exclusive bay on the Atlantic Seaboard.
The lodge has ten luxurious rooms in two adjacent properties, six in the Main Lodge and four in the Villa. All rooms incorporate strong elements of contemporary art, latticed shutters covering large picture windows and private balconies overlooking the ocean.
Three pools, superb sun decks with sweeping sea views and a romantic Indonesian style Balé, all designed for maximum comfort and intimacy. Indian slate terraces, dark stained wood, and the black-lined pools set the tone and ambience. The rooms are air-conditioned, furnished with king-size beds and provide generous seating arrangements.
Satellite television, CD player and electronic safe are standard. Full English or continental breakfast is served at the Main Lodge. Dinner is presented in the very intimate and stylish à la carte restaurant at the Villa.
The lodge provides a tranquil, luxurious haven, while Cape Town’s main attractions, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain are only a short drive away. Clifton’s famous beaches are within walking distance. French, Dutch and German spoken.
